Genealogy is the fascinating study of researching one's family history and lines of descent. In its early days, it was carried out by painstakingly visiting parishes where family members lived to find vital records, but the possibilities have expanded enormously with the use of the Internet. It can be an expensive pastime, but there are ways of carrying out research at minimum cost these days.

We meet to discuss issues, ways and means, and to share ideas.
