Science is inside us and all around us. From the kitchen to the chemical factory, from the microscopic world of bacteria to the limitless expanse of space.

Our science group is evolving according to members' interests and backgrounds. We use the format where one of our number leads a session on a topic of their choice, followed by informal group discussion. There is nothing like researching a topic and explaining it to others to improve one's own understanding. But rest assured there is no obligation to do this.

Science is a vast subject. Some of the topics that we are covering are drawn from: Earth and Planetary Sciences including Geology, Environmental Science, Astronomy and Space Exploration; Life Sciences including Evolution, Cells, Physiology, and the Science of the Mind.
